We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our food manufacturing company. The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the production process, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in food production, team leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Authorities and Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the Meat manufacturing plant.
  2. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
  3. Lead and motivate production staff to achieve production targets and meet quality goals.
  4. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
  5. Implement and enforce proper manufacturing procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  6. Inspect equipment and machinery regularly to identify and address maintenance or repair needs.
  7. Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness while minimizing waste.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth operations.
  9. Train and develop production team members to improve their skills and capabilities.
  10. Generate and maintain production reports, records, and documentation.
  11. Identify and resolve any production-related issues or bottlenecks as they arise.
  12. Foster a positive and safe working environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to production employees.
  14. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  15. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to food production.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience in Meat Industries, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role.
  3. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control practices.
  4. Familiarity with production equipment and machinery used in the Meat industry.
  5. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  6. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
