Analyst - Investment Banking UAE Nationals
This role is reserved only for the candidates that can be part of Emiratization program. Our client is an international investment bank. Sustainable Investment Banking has a unique position within the bank: the team is in charge of advising, originating, structuring and distributing financial products and solutions which include Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria. The team assists all of the bank's business lines, as well as the Coverage Department, in originating and executing sustainable finance transactions (i.e. with a strong social and environmental component such as ESG rating advisory, green and social bonds, sustainability-linked finance products or impact investment). Key Responsibilities:- Sectorial analysis and monitoring of the Green, Social and Sustainability Bond market trends.
- Participating in the preparation of clients pitch and discussions materials for potential transactions.
- Participation in the execution of mandated transactions (green documents preparation, investor presentation, investor profiles, etc.).
- Monitoring and analysis of the reporting prepared by green and social bond issuers.
- Participation in analyzing assets and projects eligible for a green or social bond or for an impact investment project.
- Assistance to the team in all other daily tasks.
- All Sustainable Investment Banking team members on a global basis.
- Coverage officers, debt originators, syndicates and sales in MEA.
- Sovereign Wealth Funds, Financial Institutions and Corporates that are potential issuers or borrowers.
- ESG rating agencies and ESG market professionals.
- ESG investors.
- Preference for graduates with a background in Sustainability, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Environmental Science or Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide analysis and solutions.
- Self-motivated and detail-minded with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
