Project Manager / Project Owner

Monday – Friday: office based (with some flexibility to work remotely subject to the needs of the business). Location: Business Bay, Dubai Job Description We are a fast-growing and dynamic international company with operations across six countries. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Project Owner with strong technical and managerial expertise to join our high-performing team in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment. This role requires a self-starter and proactive leader who possesses deep knowledge of online platforms, third-party integrations, and Agile methodologies. You must have a solid understanding of how various third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email, identity verification tools) are technically integrated into a platform and how they interact within a multi-service ecosystem. Your main objective is to drive the strategic vision and execution of a complex, fast-paced project with ambitious goals and strict deadlines. As the Project Manager / Owner, you will oversee project execution from end to end, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results and achieve critical business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Project Management:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large IT or platform project, from initial planning through final implementation.
• Work directly with the CEO to ensure alignment with company strategy, business objectives, and market requirements.
• Define and communicate project goals, priorities, and deliverables to key stakeholders.
• Create and manage a cohesive project roadmap for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategically plan and continuously improve project workflows to optimize delivery times, cost efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards and proactively manage risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.

Technical Expertise:

• Coordinate multi-vendor API integrations for various third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email, user identification tools).
• Evaluate and align technical specifications from third-party providers with project requirements , business goals, and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure successful integrations , troubleshoot technical bottlenecks, and implement robust solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary contact between cross-functional teams (Product, Development, QA, Operations) and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project milestones , updates, and potential risks clearly, providing regular status reports.
• Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of objectives.

Agile Methodologies:

• Own and manage the project backlog , including user story creation and prioritization in line with strategic goals.
• Conduct sprint planning , daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement .
• Utilize Agile tools (e.g., Asana) for progress tracking and to maintain transparency across the team and stakeholders.
• Identify and address potential issues or roadblocks early, developing proactive mitigation plans.
• Make timely decisions to adapt to evolving requirements or unforeseen challenges.
• Maintain a forward-thinking approach to ensure the project remains on track and aligned with overall business objectives.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (including software developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and external vendors), instilling a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.
• Provide clarity on vision and goals, motivating team members to deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
• Encourage open communication, knowledge sharing , and continuous learning to foster a positive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Experience: Experience:

• Preferred : 3+ years as a Project Manager, Product Owner, or similar senior role in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Proven track record overseeing large-scale IT or online platform projects with strict timelines and complex integrations.
• Familiarity with the iGaming market is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
• Strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle , including continuous integration and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of how third-party services are technically integrated into a platform and how they interact in a multi-service ecosystem .

Soft Skills:

• A self-starter mindset , taking initiative to identify challenges and propose solutions ahead of time.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to motivate teams and align with stakeholders.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams including software developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and external vendors.
