- Review and validate structural designs submitted by the D&B contractor for underground interchange stations.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of structural components, including foundations, retaining walls, and support systems.
- Collaborate with the design team to address any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the implementation phase.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify the quality and integrity of structural works.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and documentation.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design review and construction supervision activities.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to structural engineering aspects of the project.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in design review and construction supervision of metro rail or similar transport infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on underground structures and interchange stations.
- Expertise in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000 or equivalent).
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles and their application to underground structures.
- Experience in conducting structural assessments and inspections.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound engineering judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a PMC environment.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
