Reporting to a major Divisional Finance Director, key aspects of the role will involve:Leading accounting, tax and compliance functionsTaking a lead role in Enterprise Risk ManagementWorking closely with business units with managing risks, improving internal controls frameworksLeading business process and systems reviews, identifying areas of improvementManage relationships with Internal & External AuditorsOverseeing the Annual AuditOverseeing Statutory Accounts preparation and filingEnsuring governance and oversight of SOx framework and testing programOversee compliance with all company tax filings and monitoring legislation changesAssisting with new company acquisitions, divestments and dormant company liquidationsLeading a small teamCandidate BackgroundIdeal candidate will have the following background:Qualified Accountant, with min 10 years' PQEBig 4 training backgroundSOX, enterprise risk management, and internal controls experience.Strong technical accounting skills - IFRS, USGAAP and Irish TaxDemonstrated knowledge of risk, governance, and internal controls requirements for a plcExcellent communication and influencing skillsAbout Our ClientOur client is one of Ireland's leading Plc's.RemunerationCompetitive salary and benefits package, and hybrid working model.Skills:ACA, Controls, SOX, Technical Accounting, IFRS, US GAAPBenefits:Bonus, Pension, Share Purchase Plan, Hybrid
