Job Title: SHE Manager (Facilities Management) Location: Preston/Frimley/Broad Oak/Filton. Salary: Up to £60,000 Depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing:
- Support the business in maintaining ISO certifications and Operational Excellence, ensuring integration of all management systems where feasible to ensure streamlined processes
- Ensure the effective management, monitoring and reporting and of an effective risk based SHE audit programme (3 year plan) including conducting internal SHE audits and supporting (in in some case coordinating or leading) external audits (LRQA, BSI, HSE, EA)
- Reviewing reported accidents / incidents / near misses and hazard observations in line with BAE Systems Significant Injury, Illness and Fatality (SIF) standard and guidance, ensuring suitable investigations completed, root cause analysis and providing accurate reports to Senior Management
- Support Shared Services Facilities Management monitor SHE performance in line with Company requirements, hosting annual Safety Maturity Matrix reviews, assisting with development and management of Improvement Plans
- Support Shared Services Facilities Management with the identification and management of SHE training for the various job roles and the business risk profile, delivering awareness training as required
- Assure the deployment of new or revised business stream specific SHE documentation processes for effectiveness
- Expert SHE knowledge and domain knowledge around facilities management
- Practical understanding of Energy Management and Systems. (i.e. ISO 50001/ESOS)
- Professional SHE qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma, Degree or Environmental Diploma
- Practical Lead auditor skills (ISO 14001 / ISO45001) Lead Auditor qualification
- Training delivery qualification
- Food Safety audit qualification
