Data Engineer

1. Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of reliable and scalable data infrastructure and products on Microsoft Azure cloud environments
2. Assist in design, development, and delivery of large-scale data ingestion, data processing, and data transformation projects on the Azure cloud
3. Work with Digital Technology teams and customers to deploy, lead, and apply best practices for cloud products
4. Adhere to and advocate for software & data engineering best practices (e.g. technical design and review, unit testing, monitoring, alerting, source control, code review & documentation)
5. Adhere to privacy and compliance requirements; develop, maintain and improve CI / CD pipeline
6. Be part of a cross-disciplinary team working closely with other data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, data managers and business partners in a Scrum/Agile setup.

What You Need to Be Successful

1. At least 3 to 6 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer.
2. Strong experience and knowledge in Data Structures & Algorithms .
3. Hands-on experience with Databricks and using Spark for data processing (batch and/or real-time)
4. Strong experience in Python, Scala, SQL
5. Cloud platforms: Azure (ideally) or AWS
6. Data modeling with relational or data-warehouse systems.
