Data Engineer

Job Description • Strong verbal and written communication skills backed with presentation skills • High strategic skills, self-motivated and proactive to effectively design strategy, and implement the business KPIs • Experience in rolling out companywide training and enablement plan • Demonstrated success in advancing partnership tier and attainment of competencies Technical: • Experience of 4+ years in data analysis-related field • 4+ years of experience in programming Python, Database, and any Cloud platform preferably on AWS or Azure or GCP • Experience in building data warehouses, data management solutions and data pipelines, ETL/ELT, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Graph technology, Spark/Scala, Snowflake • Strong automation skills, having created fully automated CI/CD pipelines • Experience with GIT / other code versioning software • Experience working with Agile methodology and exposure to tools such as Jira/Confluence/Mural. • Experience in one or more Data Integration technologies, such as Ab Initio, Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, Data Stage, Map Reduce • Experience in one or more Data Visualization technologies, such as Tableau, Qlik, etc. • Experience with statistical software and database languages and data Management technologies/Platforms • Exposure to a broad range of tools and technologies in the space (standard RDBS like Oracle, SQL and cloud/big data platforms like Hadoop Stack, Talend, SAP-BODS, Kettle, Ni-Fi, Google Big Query/RedShift etc.)• Knowledge of ML/AI tools and their integration with Big Data environment • Solid understanding of designing data engineering platforms (Preferably Cloud-based and Big Data Platforms)• Strong hands-on experience working on Data Modelling, Data Management (master, metadata management, dictionaries, data catalogs)• Expert in any Data Management Platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS etc. & conduct POCs and implementation henceforth across the whole Enterprise Data portfolio • Proficient with databases such as MySQL, DB2, SQL Server etc.,
