This Lead Software Engineering role is with a globally recognized leader in the insurance industry, undergoing rapid expansion following exceptional performance in recent years. They are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in backend development to join them on this massive growth journey. As a Lead Software Engineer for this re-insurance giant, you will have the opportunity to spearhead a large-scale migration to Azure, leveraging .NET and C# as you take charge of engineering in this area, combining software development and architectural oversight. A huge bonus for this opportunity is the clear path to progress into an Architect role within 6-12 months, for candidates that showcase the right skillset and contributions. While the ideal candidate for this role should have strong development experience with C# and .NET and Azure Cloud, this role is also open to lead backend engineers from diverse programming backgrounds provided they have the right mindset and architectural knowledge required for the role! Skills/Experience Required

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET/Java/Scala/Python
• Strong familiarity with Azure, including migrations and cloud development.
• Experience managing stakeholders and C-level executives.

Salary/Remuneration: Up to 130,000 at the base (DOE) Benefits: 20-40% bonus, 10% pension, health insurance (for candidate and dependents), life insurance, and more.
