Commercial General Manager (semiconductor sales experience is required) Job Title: Commercial General Manager (GM) Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial General Manager to oversee all aspects of the SEA operations for our robotics and artificial intelligence technology portfolio company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the semiconductor industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence. The commercial GM will be responsible for strategic planning, business development, team management, and ensuring the initiate business success of their SEA division. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement the strategic vision and business plan for the SEA division. Set and achieve annual and long-term business goals, including revenue, profit, and market share targets. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and government agencies. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other public forums. Lead the team to actively explore new markets, develop new customers, and increase market share. Participate in or lead business negotiations, formulate contract terms and follow up on implementation to ensure maximization of company interests. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Manage and optimize supply chain, production, and logistics processes. Ensure high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to direct reports and other key personnel. Develop and implement talent management strategies, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. Proven experience in managing large-scale operations and leading cross-functional teams. Strong background in key account management, sales, business development, strategic planning, and financial management. Experience in the Asia-Pacific market, particularly in Singapore, is a plus. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in English and Mandarin; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay) is a plus.
