Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specialising in structural engineering and construction supervision to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing structural aspects of large-scale construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.

Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to structural designs, specifications, and quality standards
Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and construction methodologies
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential structural issues
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Prepare detailed technical reports, including structural assessments and recommendations
Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians in structural engineering practices
Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the construction process
Analyse and resolve complex structural engineering problems on-site

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent qualification
Relevant structural engineering certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer) are highly desirable
Minimum of 10 years experience in structural engineering and construction supervision
Proven experience with large-scale construction projects
In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar structural design software
Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia
Excellent project management skills and familiarity with project management tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated expertise in structural design and analysis
Thorough understanding of construction methodologies and best practices
Strong knowledge of quality control and assurance in construction
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction sites
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
