Job Purpose: The role of the Chief Executive Officer is to work out the overall direction, management, and administration of all aspects of the SPV and plant activities. To work closely with the JV management to align the team around the strategic objectives of the plant, ensuring that all the plant's efforts are delivered consistently against these objectives in a tangible, efficient and effective manner. The Chief Executive will be expected to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and promote an organizational culture that delivers high performance results through an engaging, communicative, and collaborative approach. He will be responsible on site to manage the ISTP operation and maintenance activities and all stakeholders to make sure everything is smooth and to reach the deadlines to reach the PCOD. Accountabilities:

  • Manage the EPC contractor of the plant.
  • Supervise and manage the Contract of the plant to reach the PCOD.
  • Lead, develop and mentor staff throughout the organization to promote employee engagement and improved organizational capabilities.
  • Identifying, designing, and implementing operational and technical process enhancements including development of KPIs and other measures to monitor performance results.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and lead service improvements designed to facilitate organizational unity and the effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Creating, reviewing, negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal matters
  • Works independently to resolve issues as needed and advance initiatives identified in the Strategic Plan.
  • Works closely with the JV in strategic planning, developing implementation plans; setting priorities.
  • Represents the organization on appropriate board committees and keep Board members informed of critical issues.
  • To oversee assigned operational activities from an executive level.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Science, Business Management, or related area with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Preferable experience in water/wastewater sector.
  • Preferable experience in operation and maintenance of similar projects.
