Position: Accountant Location: Radisson Hotel Jeddah Tahlia, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia About Us: Nestled in the heart of Jeddah's vibrant fashion district, Tahlia Street, Radisson Hotel Jeddah Tahlia seamlessly blends modern elegance with traditional charm. Our hotel features 134 thoughtfully designed rooms, including 46 suites, and offers exceptional amenities to our guests. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to join our team at Radisson Hotel Jeddah Tahlia. This vital role will support the objectives of the Accounting Department, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes while delivering accurate and timely reports. The ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned activities, work collaboratively across departments, and uphold the values of Radisson's service ethos, creating memorable experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist in the smooth running of the accounting department, ensuring that all accounting and company standards are adhered to.
- Take responsibility for the tasks assigned, ensuring that work is completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maximize satisfaction and comfort, ensuring any queries or issues are addressed proactively.
- Support and implement the strategies and objectives of the accounting department, owning areas of responsibility and performance.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge, aligning with the company's commitment to growth and performance excellence.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to maintain inventory and achieve departmental productivity targets.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships, communicating effectively with key stakeholders while promoting company values.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, documenting due diligence activities and preparing for audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Socpa membership.
- Proven experience in an accounting position, with a solid understanding of financial processes and standards.
- Fluency in English; Arabic would be a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate across all levels of the department and company.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to suggest creative solutions.
- Proficiency in Sun System, MC system, and good command of Excel.
