Revenue Accountant

Meta is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position on our global credit card revenue team, based in our Dublin office. This is a great role for anyone looking to accelerate their learning, build new things and collaborate with cross-functional business partners. You will demonstrate exceptional communication and partnership skills along with recognizing how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. In this position you will be given the opportunity to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment while performing your function.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for multiple aspects of Revenue Accounting including review of journals, account reconciliations and preparing flux analysis.
- Drive Finance requirements & testing on key projects for example system changes, product launches.
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with business and engineering partners.
- Partner with cross functional teams to streamline global processes.
- Ensure compliance with key controls and audit requirements, including close coordination with both external and internal auditors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- 2+ years post-qualification industry experience with large, productive, multinational company.
- Demonstrated computer and analytical skills, including advanced skills in Excel.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
- Demonstrated planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the 'big picture' and the importance of risk mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of SQL and database management.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and analytical tools.
