Salesforce Developer (South Africa)

Founded by David Ebersman, former CFO of Facebook and Genentech, Lyra has raised more than $900 million. About the Role: Lyra Health is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our multicultural team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions that hold the case data of 20,000 clinicians operating in over 150 countries. You will work as part of a dedicated team in partnership with colleagues in South Africa, the UK, and the US, and will collaborate with stakeholders, lead technical teams, and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality solutions. This role can be carried out from our Johannesburg, SA office, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within South Africa. Ideally, candidates would be able to attend pre-planned onsite meetings on occasion (Johannesburg).

Responsibilities

• Custom Development:
• Develop custom Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies.
• Create integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
• Optimize Salesforce performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Innovation:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological innovation.
• Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Platform Dev 1, etc.) are a plus.
