***Clarification on SMP Contract: It is Supplementary Manpower service contract job in which prospective applicants are interviewed and salary determined by NEOM interview panel; and being employed under the payroll of SMP Contract (SMP Vendor). Successfully mobilized candidates would be under the visa sponsorship of SMP Vendor Company/Contract. ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a Data & AI Engineer for Data Platforms such as Palantir Foundry. The candidate will build and configure Data & AI solutions using different platforms and components such as Palantir Foundry. They will connect with external data sources, model data and automate data transformation, and integrate with large models. This profile is for an all-round developer who can deliver end-to-end data and AI applications from data to dashboards Key Accountabilities

  • Be a core part of the engineering team that builds data and AI applications for NEOM and non-NEOM clients of Tonomus
  • Integrate a variety of data sources into platforms such as Palantir Foundry with SAP, Oracle, MS SQL, and other databases or extract from other data platforms.
  • Design and implement robust data models within Foundry, including creating ontologies, objects, relationships, and properties.
  • Build and configure Foundry data pipelines using existing functions or by coding them in Python, Java, SQL for dataset transformations.
  • Manage and monitor data pipelines in Foundry for performance and data quality. Troubleshoot and resolve any data discrepancies or pipeline issues.
  • Design and deploy dashboards and applications on the Foundry platform. Ensure the apps provide insights and relevant actions for the provided use case.
  • Configure machine learning models within the Foundry ecosystem. Ensure models are effectively integrated into applications and pipelines for real-time or batch predictions.
  • Use Foundry AIP to build Generative AI applications by using internal and external LLMs.
  • Help with pre-sales activities by building demos and participating in Bootcamps
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the data and ai engineering space
  • Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and AI applications.
  • Fluent in Python and SQL. Working knowledge of typescript
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.
  • Strong experience with Palantir Foundry and other similar platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and others.
  • Strong experience in Palantir Foundry AIP and similar Gen AI applications
  • Strong experience in building RAG applications using OSS and other frameworks
  • Familiarity with ML models and their applications in business use-cases.
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles preferably in a servicing capacity is a must
  • Proven record of building complex dashboards and applications for business users is a plus.
