Job Summary: Collection Supervisor oversees the collections team to ensure target achievement, manages client relationships, and handles legal documentation. This role involves team supervision, performance analysis, and process improvement. Responsibilities: Managing Collection Operations:

  • Oversee and monitor the collection team to ensure monthly and annual collection targets are met.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic collection plans.
  • Actively follow up on overdue accounts, providing detailed reports on outstanding debts.
Team Supervision:
  • Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to the collection team.
  • Train and mentor new employees, improving team performance through skill development.
  • Address and resolve collection-related issues, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Handle challenging client interactions professionally and effectively.
Client Communication:
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring timely collection of outstanding amounts.
  • Submit clear and periodic updates to management on collection progress.
  • Address and resolve client complaints promptly and professionally.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze client records to provide actionable insights and suggestions for improving collection processes.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on team performance and collection outcomes.
Preparing Legal Documents:
  • Prepare necessary legal documentation for cases requiring legal escalation.
  • Coordinate with the legal department to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and document accuracy.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in collections or credit management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in preparing documents for legal escalation.
  • A legal background or certification in law is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
