Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design team, ensuring project design meets client requirements, technical standards, and deadlines.
Oversee the preparation and submission of design calculations, ensuring they comply with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, coordinating with the project team to resolve any issues.
Monitor and control the design process for Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings,ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project timelines.
Review and approve all design-related documentation, ensuring it alignswith project objectives and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers to ensure the design process runs smoothly and meets project goals.
Conduct design reviews and ensure that any modifications or changes are documented and communicated effectively to the project team.
Ensure that all design-related activities adhere to quality control standards and industry regulations.

Requirements:

10 to 15 years of experience in design management, ideally large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Conduct design reviews and ensure that any modifications or changes are documented and communicated effectively to the project team.
Ensure that all design-related activities adhere to quality control standards and industry regulations.
In-depth understanding of design processes, construction methods, and industry regulations.
Familiarity with shop drawings, IFC drawings, design calculations, and compliance requirements.
