Health Safety Environment Officer(Supervisor)

SCMC is seeking a dedicated HSE Supervisor to join our dynamic team in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. As the HSE Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing environmental, health, and safety initiatives across our operations. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in accordance with legal regulations and ensure the factory complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards set by legal authorities.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to address potential emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
Conduct regular inspections of the factory premises, equipment, and machinery to ensure they meet safety standards and are in good working condition.
Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of waste materials to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with waste management regulations.
Coordinate HSE training programs for employees and management to promote a culture of safety awareness.
Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental activities, including incident reports, inspection records, and training documentation.
Identify opportunities for improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance and implement initiatives to enhance overall safety culture and environmental sustainability.
Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with company HSE standards and goals.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our HSE programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Proven experience 2 to 5 Years as an HSE Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and their application in the workplace.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others in HSE initiatives.
