Job details

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cost Accountant to join our team in the food and beverage sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing the costs of operational and production processes, ensuring profitability, and contributing to data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and manage all costs related to production and operations, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting records and reports.
  3. Monitor and evaluate inventory levels to ensure alignment with production and sales requirements.
  4. Prepare cost forecasts and budgets and provide insights for improving efficiency and reducing expenses.
  5. Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identify causes, and propose solutions.
  6. Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to optimize costs and enhance efficiency.
  7. Contribute to pricing strategies by analyzing cost structures and offering relevant recommendations.
  8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control standards.
Required Qualifications: Education:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in financial accounting or a related field. Professional certifications are a plus.
Experience:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting (with experience in financial accounting), preferably in the food and beverage industry, catering sector, or manufacturing.

Location: Makkah Al-Mukarramah Skills:
  1. Proficient understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis.
  2. Expertise in using Excel, PivotTables, and accounting software (such as Odoo).
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. High-level proficiency in Arabic language, both written and spoken.
