Plans, organizes, and directs the overall administrative, technical, and operational activities of the Mega Projects Management Program related to the Hospital and ensures that associated strategic plans are executed and completed as per predetermined schedules in order to achieve targeted goals and objectives. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Participates in continuously monitoring and updates as necessary the division’s goals, objectives, policies and procedures and other official documents.
  2. Provides strong leadership in the development of high quality, cost-effective, and integrated programs across the Mega Projects Management Program.
  3. Works closely with all departments under the Division to intervene and provide advice to all concerned departments.
  4. Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the service delivery process, assesses and monitors workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  5. Supervises and facilitates the smooth collaboration of various entities and services supporting the Mega Projects Program.
  6. Monitors and inspects program facilities to ensure optimum, efficient, and appropriate utilization of available resources assigned to the Mega Projects Management Program.
  7. Ensures the timely preparation of the annual operating budget for all assigned services/functions, monitors, and keeps expenditures within budget.
  8. Monitors the preventive maintenance and landscaping schedules in coordination with the concerned technical Department.
  9. Monitors all the warranties regarding the building and furniture, and coordinates the repair or replacement of furniture.
  10. Assists in the facilitation and coordination of services provided to the Mega Projects Management Program assigned staff when necessary, including safe and efficient transportation through the Mega Projects Management Program.
  11. Directs and supervises the procurement, storage, inventory, delivery and/or disposal of all Mega Projects Management Program material and equipment in accordance with the Hospital’s established policies and procedures.
  12. Oversees selecting, recruiting, learning, retaining, and evaluating staff. Recommends appointments, terminations, re-contracts, and promotions of staff, as necessary.
  13. Chairs and/or serves as a member of committees/task forces.
  14. Follows all Hospital related Policies and Procedures.
  15. Participates in self and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
  16. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Construction Engineering, Project Management, or other related discipline is required. Experience Required: Eleven (11) years with a Master’s, or thirteen (13) years with a Bachelor’s Degree of related experience, including five (5) years in a managerial capacity is required. Other Requirements/Certifications: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is required. Non-Saudi Engineers must obtain a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Saudi Council of Engineers license is required.
