About The Role Manages a team of intermediate or experienced Outside Sales professionals. Leads outside sales activities and ensures operational plans and objectives are met. Responsible for making significant improvements to processes and standards in order to enhance performance of the outside sales team. Key Responsibilities As a BMS/Controls Business Unit Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement business unit strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Set long-term goals and create actionable plans to achieve them.
  • Sales Operations: Monitor sales activities and performance metrics to ensure targets are met. Prepare Order and Sales forecasts on regular sales reports and present findings to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and monitor processes to improve productivity and quality. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage the business unit’s budget. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets. Oversee on-time invoicing and collection. Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team Sales and operation within the business unit. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Product/Service Development: Oversee the delivery of Projects, Product, and Services. Ensure that offerings meet quality standards and customer expectations. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative practices.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain high standards of safety and ethical conduct.
Requirements We are looking for people who, as a minimum, must have:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field). MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within Controls/Building Management System Industry, preferably in KSA.
  • Language: English fluency is mandatory.
