Job Title: Senior Accountant About the Company: Is a group of companies dedicated to delivering advanced engineering and project management solutions within the realms of water treatment and infrastructure development. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven ability to manage the accounting functions for multiple projects within a fast-paced MEP Contracting environment. Key Responsibilities:

Project Accounting:
- Oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple projects, including revenue recognition, cost tracking, and project profitability analysis.
- Maintain accurate and timely project cost records, including labor, materials, subcontracts, and equipment.
- Prepare and analyze project-level financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and track actual performance against budget.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Prepare and analyze key financial indicators and generate insightful MIS reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Cost Control:
- Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
- Analyze variances from budget and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with project managers to identify and mitigate potential cost overruns.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of year-end audits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the MEP Contracting industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
Experience with cost accounting, project accounting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in using Tally ERP.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
