Job Summary: The Comms Partner position will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing multimedia content to support the organization's communication objectives. This role will involve creating engaging visual and audio content across various platforms, including social media, websites, presentations, and promotional materials. Key Responsibilities:

  • Multimedia Content Creation:
    • Produce high-quality multimedia content, including videos, graphics, animations, and audio recordings.
    • Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and storyboard multimedia projects.
    • Edit and enhance multimedia content using industry-standard software tools.
  • Content Management:
    • Organize and maintain a multimedia library/database for easy access and retrieval of assets.
    • Ensure multimedia content aligns with brand guidelines and communication strategies.
    • Regularly update and refresh multimedia content to keep it current and relevant.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop multimedia content tailored for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
    • Schedule and publish multimedia posts to engage and grow the organization's online audience.
    • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to enhance communication efforts.
  • Website Management:
    • Create and update multimedia elements on the organization's website, including videos, images, and interactive features.
    • Optimize multimedia content for web performance, accessibility, and search engine visibility.
    • Collaborate with web developers/designers to ensure seamless integration of multimedia assets.
  • Communication Support:
    • Assist in drafting written content, such as memos, articles, and training materials.
    • Provide multimedia support for internal and external presentations, events, and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align multimedia efforts with broader communication goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in multimedia content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing, graphic design, and other relevant skills.
  • Proficiency in multimedia software tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas through multimedia formats.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, web technologies, and digital marketing principles.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with photography, audio recording, or other multimedia production techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of copyright laws, licensing agreements, and intellectual property rights related to multimedia content.
