Responsibilities:
- Ensuring confidentiality of production formulation and processes.
- Managing production resources & allocation, including equipment & facilities, decide on and order the required resources.
- Managing production planning, scheduling and capacity sizing.
- Production administration in SAP.
- Inventory management and perform physical inventory cycle count.
- Introduction of new production techniques in collaboration with the R&D/Engineering.
- Manage & supervise production & maintenance teams to ensure high work quality, productivity and efficiency.
- Evaluate teams’ performance.
- Coaching, training & development of people, and promote high team spirit.
- Selection and recruitment of new employees.
- Demonstrate & live up the Puratos Magic culture within the Company.
- Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency & productivity without compromising safety or quality.
- Setting of KPIs, tracking & reporting. Analyzing data & identifying opportunities to improve productivity & efficiency.
- Develop and execute production & operations strategies aligning with Company’s business plan.
- Prepare annual and long-range budget projections (Opex, Capex, Headcount), regular review of budgeting data, and tracking of departmental expenses.
- Enforcement and responsible of full compliance of all applicable legal legislation & regulations, and all quality standards.
- Liaise across teams and departments to ensure a smooth and efficient production process, making sure everyone is aware of any process changes and improvements.
- Be Change Manager.
- Ensure that manufacturing machinery, equipment and tools are at good capacity and well maintained to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
- Identifying and implementing a proactive maintenance strategy that ensures efficient operations.
- Enhance machinery efficiency by constantly introducing new ideas to improve the automation system within the approved budget.
- Degree in Food Science & Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 10 years working experience in production and/or engineering field is required.
- Knowledge in Industrial Automation, especially in Pneumatics, PLC and other production automation system would render greater advantage.
- Able to perform analysis, process capability study, implement continual improvement and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good personality, team work oriented.
