Analyze - in coordination with the Buyers and company’s Functions involved – the contractual aspects of the proposals made by the potential suppliers, with a focus on the contract documents (PO text, Purchase conditions, Frame Agreements, MOE and/or LOI, etc.); Contribute to the evaluation of the risk profiles of the proposals based on the deviations to the standard contracts proposed by the potential suppliers; Provide feedback to the buyers/ project structures with reference to the deviations proposed by the potential suppliers; Participate to the negotiations and review meetings with internal and external stakeholders regarding the definition of contractual terms of the Purchase Orders; Support the Category Managers in drafting commercial agreements; Implement in the contractual terms and conditions the lesson learnt arising from the operations; Following the Contract award, support the assigned Project Procurement Managers in the timely comprehension of the contractual aspects and associated risks, also through the preparation of summary documentation; Assist the Buyers in the review of Purchase Order Amendments drafts prior to its formalization; Review critical Logistics contracts when required. When required, provide support during post-order phase. Align with other Functions in order to enhance improvements to future Project’s Purchase Conditions. Provide advice and opinion about contractual aspects that may impact on the Company. Contribute to the updating of the data bases of the department.

  • Education - Engineering Degree / LLB
  • At least 2 years of experience gained in contracts negotiations (experience in purchasing environment of industrial equipment in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power sector is a plus); past experience in work in EPC projects will be considered as a plus;
  • Engineering or Economics Degree would be appreciated; Law degree will be considered a plus;
  • Contract drafting and negotiation skills;
  • Strong legal awareness;
  • Attention to details;
  • Keen on team working, knowledge sharing and positive attitude;
  • Time keeping; capability to plan and work on sometimes tight deadlines;
  • fluent English speaker and writer;
  • numerate and computer literate (Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
