Scaffolding Supervisor

Are you passionate about scaffolding? Familiar with ring lock scaffolding systems? And are you looking for a new opportunity? Read on! We are looking for a self-driven Scaffolding Supervisor to become part of our site services team at Doka. Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day scaffold supervision of the project and control of multinational labor force.
2. Ensuring project schedules are achieved whilst maintaining the necessary standards of safety and quality.
3. Proactive approach to safety issues.
4. Distribute the workload evenly among the site team.
5. Develop a thorough understanding of the project specification and guide the site team in executing the job.
6. Conduct toolbox meetings to emphasize the importance of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policy and project-specific safety requirements.
7. Listen to the grievances of subordinates and take necessary steps to address their concerns.
8. Planning the scaffolding scope to a level of detail to enable sound decision-making and clear definition of weekly work scope to those executing the work.
9. Forecasting all material and safety equipment required for scope of work to be executed safely and in a timely manner.
10. Demonstrating good planning and organization in their day-to-day activities.
11. Conduct and document scaffold inspections.
12. Ensure each employee is adequately trained and competency assessed for each work assignment. Particular attention shall be paid to new employees.
13. Ensure that all employees working at height receive proper training and demonstrate competence in utilizing fall arrest equipment to ensure 100% tie-off is maintained.
14. Report daily to Superintendent/Manager regarding work progress, productivity, and attendance.
15. Evaluate the performance of the workforce and report to superiors.
16. Monitoring and recording team members' performance.

1. Experience with Ring lock scaffold system.
2. Carpentry skills are an advantage.
3. Moderate English skills.
4. Flexibility, willing to carry out other tasks.
5. CISRS certified is an advantage.
6. UAE driving License is an advantage.
