Planning, researching and developing network security policies, standards and procedures. Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired. Good working knowledge of Cybersecurity risk management, technical vulnerability management (vulnerability assessment, penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall), security incident response and security assessment. Hands-on experience in the following IT Security Tools: Next Generation Firewall (e.g., FortiGate, Sophos) Tenable Nessus, Email Security, Endpoint Protection (e.g., Symantec, Sophos Endpoint) SD-WAN, Ruckus WLAN Monitor all network resources proactively to ascertain the health of the networks and to detect faults or errors. Network and Log Monitoring (e.g., Nagios, PRTG, CACTI) Requirements: A technologist at heart, and love the development of automations to speed ways of working. You have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. You enjoy hands-on technical work and documentation. You are a self-motivated and results-oriented individual. You have good analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills. Possess at least CCNA, Network+, Security+ or equivalent IT security certifications. OJT, training courses provided.
