Director (Policy, Projects and Regulatory Services) (702060) Department of Natural Resources and Environment TasmaniaEnvironment, Heritage and LandEnvironment Applications must be submitted by Wednesday 12 February, 2025 11:55 PM Award/Classification: Senior Executive - Level 1 - Payment of Salary above the base salary of the advertised range is subject to an annual performance assessment $156,075.00 to $171,573.00 per annum Employment type: Senior Executive Region: To be negotiated, Statewide Location: Hobart or Launceston About the role As the Director, Policy, Projects and Regulatory Services you will provide strategic leadership in the development of policy, projects and programs related to the conservation, management and sustainable development of the State’s natural resources. You will provide high level strategic policy advice to the General Manager (Environment), the designated Deputy Secretary, the Secretary and the Minister on issues related to sustainable use, conservation and management of Tasmania’s environment and natural values. About you As an experienced, delivery focused leader you have a strong track record in natural resources use, conservation and management as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. You are experienced in building positive and productive relationships, and in working collaboratively and effectively with key stakeholder groups. Relevant tertiary qualifications are desired or demonstration of an equivalent level of skills together with a proven record of management in a large private or public sector organisation. The role is a Senior Executive office for a contract period of up to 5 years and offers an attractive remuneration package, which incorporates salary ranging from $156,075 to $171,573 p.a., plus 11.5% superannuation and private use of a fully maintained vehicle.
