Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Full-time, Sydney, Australia In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sales team in their effort to retain existing clients and to obtain profitable new corporate travel accounts (these can be both local and/or multinational accounts). The Director of Sales may have an individual sales target. As a Director of Sales, you will Establish strategic relationships with key prospects and preferred suppliers Identify and analyze sales trends & patterns, potential customers, and leads Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy Stay abreast of competitor activity and respond to competitor weaknesses and threats Ensure team members oversee new business implementation and work closely with the implementation teams Ensure all client-facing collateral is current and consistent with company branding and image standards About you Relevant corporate-level experience demonstrating leadership and success, with responsibility for representing the country management team and leading overall sales at the national level Effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation Computer literate in business software applications Ability to interact with individuals and groups in a positive and collaborative manner Ability and willingness to travel domestically and flexibility for occasional international travel Business travel industry experience is preferred About us We’re a market leader in travel management: We help people and companies travel smart and achieve more, and our clients include some of the world’s best-known and most innovative business and consumer brands.
