Key Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately install specialized equipment (12V systems, sirens, lightbars, emergency lighting, radios, interior outfitting, various accessories).
- Participate in pre-production meetings to thoroughly understand installation plans, wiring configurations, flash patterns, and programming requirements.
- Deliver high-quality work that meets First Line Solutions' standards.
- Work closely with the team and team leader to ensure deadlines are met and clients are satisfied.
- Identify and promptly report potential solutions or observed issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Share your knowledge with team members and commit to continuous training to stay up to date on best practices and industry innovations.
- Accurately and promptly complete all required documentation.
- Practical experience with 12V automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with emergency lighting installations (an asset).
- Proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools (multimeter, circuit tester, etc.).
- Wiring skills: stripping, crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and looming.
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble vehicle interiors without causing damage.
- Experience in fabricating or modifying brackets or accessories (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in a demanding technical environment.
