- Organize project reviews on a regular basis.
- Chair project reviews, ensuring that solid reports with key performance indicators are in place; Communicate to the management team the status, milestones and progress of various projects.
- Follow and apply the processes, procedures and policies of the PMO department.
- Participation in the evolution of processes, procedures and policies of the PMO department.
- Manage projects, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and on-time delivery in accordance with methodology.
- Ensure that the projects in his charge are correctly planned and executed in order to achieve the objectives as defined;
- Advise, supervise and guide the project organization in its mission and support it in cross-functional interactions.
- Ensure the development of recovery plans when the scope, schedule or costs of a project are not respected or do not correspond to forecasts;
- Perform lessons learned analyzes
- Interact with local area management, department managers to resolve issues based on project needs/requirements;
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization and externally with customers;
- Ability to develop strong relationships across the company through excellent customer service; Develop and maintain clear communication channels across the organization and project stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems or a related field.
- Graduate diploma is an asset
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, including 10 years in project management
- Experience in IT and non-IT project management would be a distinctive asset
- Varied experience in IT project management (application, telecom, infrastructure, prototyping, etc.)
- High-level project manager with expert-level knowledge of project management and change management and its methodology, techniques, processes and approaches
- (The methodology: Project and Portfolio Management Methodology - PPM)
- Understanding of systems architecture and their interrelationships
- Skills in budget, cost and profitability management
- Credibility as a high-level project manager
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines as part of an overall vision
- Ability to supervise, coach and transfer knowledge to team members
- Team management ability in matrix mode
- Ability to build strong network and executive level relationships across customer and supplier groups
- Ability to adjust and integrate into different business styles and cultures
- Resilience, autonomous, curiosity and resourcefulness
- Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English
- Adaptability to Hybrid work (onsite & remote)
- Knowledge of several project management platforms (Msft, Monday, Sciforma....)
- Meticulous in project financial monitoring
