If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us... Job Propose Summary:- Responsible for applications maintenance, development, implementation and support for GTX/LPM/MPOS/Card Management System/Stand-In System and all related interfaces with downstream systems.
- Participates in user requirement study/analysis and systems design for the above-mentioned applications.
- Undertake incident/problem troubleshooting and adopts appropriate actions to address reported incident/problem according to the stipulated SOP and good methodologies/practices.
- Assists Team Lead to plan, coordinate and execute applications development, implementation and production support activities.
- Assists users in understanding & interpreting user requirements, coordinating with relevant parties in business specifications gathering & documentation and liaising with PMO/GITI/GITS/SME in technical solution development.
- Responsible for systems study, applications design and development for Credit Card system and relevant interfaces for downstream systems (CMS, WLL/LPM, GTX, MPOS, Stand-in).
- Participates in user group meeting and provides information to facilitate users in URS gathering and decision making for business solution proposal.
- Provides relevant advices to business users and IT technical staff.
- Ensures amended and enhanced systems meet user functional requirement specifications.
- Ensures all documentation, processes and methodologies used in various phases of system development and implementation are in accordance with the Bank's standards & methodologies.
- Ensure all internal (Audit & Risk) and external (Visa/MC, WeChat) compliances are fulfilled in card management and GTX related applications.
- Ensures appropriate controls are built into business applications to attain stability, security and reliability of technical deliverables.
- Recommends production fixes and online/batch performance improvement measures.
- Handles operational duties and incident support as and when required.
- Assists Team Lead to manage development team members and coordinating team projects/tasks related activities.
- Handles queries and correspondences with auditors and BNM authority.
- Notifies management on potential security problems which are not adequately addressed by existing control mechanisms.
- Liaises with PMO on projects undertaken by the team.
- Assists Team Lead in managing technical activities undertaken by the team in accordance with the guidelines and compliances as stipulated by BNM GPIS.
- Assists Team Lead in liaising with GITI/GITS on production issues and impacted services, and manages until closure.
- Assists Team Lead in fulfillment of Security, IT Audit/Risk, MyClear & Visa/MC compliances.
- Handles compliance, DCSS and O/S patching activities.
- Diploma / Degree
- 1 - 8 years of working experience in Linux platform development and enterprise applications support
- Required skills: Linux, OpenShift, XML/JSON RESTful Webservices, SQL, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML/5
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using OpenShift and XML/Java platforms will be an added advantage.
- Experience working on Credit Card and related application interfaces will be an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record in enterprise solution delivery.
- Ability to articulate issue & capable of providing long-term solution with short-term mitigation plan.
