The Sales Engineer specializing in Industrial Instrumentation and Mechanical Products is responsible for driving sales and providing technical support for a range of industrial equipment and systems. The Sales and Application Engineer collaborates closely with the sales and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales objectives within the industrial sector. Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: Engage with industrial clients to comprehend their technical needs and provide tailored solutions utilizing instrumentation and mechanical products.
- Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's industrial instrumentation and mechanical product line to effectively address customer inquiries and requirements.
- Technical Support: Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to clients, including product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and training sessions.
- Proposal Development: Create technical proposals and quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with their specifications and budget constraints.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to devise effective sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and achieve sales targets within the industrial sector.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industrial trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify opportunities for product enhancement or diversification.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, technical specifications, and sales activities for reference and reporting purposes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industrial instrumentation and mechanical systems, with a solid grasp of relevant engineering principles and technologies.
- Sales Experience: Having 2-5 years of experience in technical sales or a customer-facing role within the industrial sector is advantageous. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
