As a Social Media Intern at Handmade Heroes, you will play a key role in assisting with the development and execution of our social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing within a fast-paced and fun environment. Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in creating, editing and curating engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
2. Support the social media team in planning and executing social media campaigns.
3. Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
4. Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to optimize content.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for social media content.
6. Assist in analysing social media metrics and generating reports on performance.
7. Help maintain a consistent brand voice and image across all social media platforms.
8. Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, tools, and trends.

Job Requirements

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
2. Strong passion for social media and digital marketing.
3. Comfortable being featured in videos as part of the brand.
4. Creative mindset with an eye for design and visual aesthetics.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
7. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
