You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and play a key role in identifying cost-saving opportunities. The position requires a proactive approach and strong communication skills to enhance the company’s overall financial performance. You will regularly prepare detailed reports, monitor budget variances, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY ACTIVITIES Cost Control and Reporting
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to top management.
- Monitor budget variances and recommend actions collaborating across departments.
- Implement cost control measures and track their effectiveness.
- Relate data in the factory to finance figures to provide actionable insights.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in operations.
- Ensure correct stock valuation and asset management to maintain financial accuracy.
- Lead the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts to align with company objectives.
- Estimate costs for new SKUs to ensure accurate budgeting.
- Lead Capex preparation and effectively track projects ROI.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data.
- Interact with ERP system (SAP) to manage and analyze financial data effectively.
- Assist in communicating financial results to all stakeholders across the organization.
- Work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering (i.e. Manufacturing, Food) or a related field.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices is required.
- Previous exposure to Excel and SAP (FI, CO, MM and PP modules) is required.
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a Factory environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to problems.
