Job details
Responsibilities:
- Lead a full spectrum of financial reporting and accounting operations for Malaysia subsidiaries
- Ensure timely completion of statutory reporting, management reporting, budgets and forecasts, tax compliances, legal requirements and others
- Review monthly management reporting
- Manage cash flow and treasury function to ensure sufficient fundings and no idle funds
- Implement, review and improve internal control and processes
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and SFRS/IFRS
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of statutory, tax and regulatory requirements for the group of companies in a timely manner
- Liaise with banks, internal & external auditors, legals, tax consultants and corporate secretarial agents
- Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to government grant claims
- Any other ad-hoc finance duties assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, MIA or CPA qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented and hands-on with excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving and multitasking skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical, meticulous and a strong communicator
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Working experience in large organisation or listed company is preferred
