GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.
Our customers include well-known brands like Angel Milk, 555, Argentina, Century Canning, Hunt’s-URC, Ligo, Mead Johnson, Pure Foods Hormel - San Miguel, Reno, Swift, Virginia, and Youngstown.
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements by providing the necessary schedules, reports, and reconciliations.
Handle BIR output tax remittances and related reports and schedules.
Record journal voucher transactions in SAP.
Study, update, interpret, and implement new and existing rulings/regulations from the BIR, SEC, and other government agencies.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in general accounting (required but not mandatory).
Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Board passer (CPA).
Proficient in computer applications such as SAP and Excel.
Systems-oriented, highly analytical, trustworthy, with proven leadership skills.
Positive work attitude and a team player.
