- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Provide production support and assistance for all Linux technologies under Enterprise Production Support
- Manage patching, upgrades and other various infrastructure operations on Redhat Linux.
- Understand hardware systems and deal with hardware failures that include disks, memories, NICs, and ports.
- Assist with automation tasks within the Linux and Solaris Environment
- Maintain stability of the production Linux environment.
- Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of system maintenance, release updates, upgrades, and/or new technology deployments adhering to the company's standard change management protocol.
- Effectively complete projects and installations within aggressive time frames and budget parameters.
- Be willing to learn new technologies.
- Develop and produce timely metrics based on the required management platforms.
- Execute performance and statistical monitoring to develop procedures and best practices which improve the overall environment.
- Make necessary recommendations or suggestions within Distributed platform areas to control KPI and other indices resulting in insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Administrative experience in Redhat Linux and Solaris environments.
- Good knowledge of ITIL Process.
- Experience in handling critical and major production incidents.
- Knowledge in shell scripting.
- Experience in cloud environments like AWS is an added advantage.
