Wellbeing Team Lead (Remote, South Africa) Due to continued growth, we are hiring a Wellbeing Team Lead who will work remotely out of South Africa. The Wellbeing Pillar Head is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the strategic development, growth and operational excellence of Atrium's Wellbeing Pillar. This role requires an individual who can create and execute a clear wellbeing strategy, identify opportunities for new client acquisition and ensure Atrium's Wellbeing Service stays at the forefront of best practices, trends and ethics. The Wellbeing Pillar Head will strive to deliver impactful wellbeing solutions that align with Atrium's mission and values and drive sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities: The Wellbeing Pillar Head will:
- Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and implement a long-term strategy for the Wellbeing Pillar which aligns with overall organisational goals, vision and mission.
- Ensure that wellbeing programmes are relevant, innovative and responsive to the evolving needs of clients and industry trends.
- Lead the creation of clear, measurable KPIs for wellbeing initiatives and ensure consistent monitoring of performance to meet objectives.
- Manage the budget and resources for the Wellbeing Pillar, ensuring optimal allocation to maximise impact and growth.
- Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify new market opportunities and drive the acquisition of new clients.
- Enhance client retention by ensuring delivery of high-quality wellbeing services.
- Review of Trends & Best Practices
- Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices and emerging research in the wellbeing sector.
- Ethics & Compliance
- Maintain the highest ethical standards in all wellbeing programmes and services, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry guidelines.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within wellbeing strategies, ensuring access and respect for all individuals.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards regarding all client data.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor and inspire the wellbeing team so as to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide professional development opportunities for team members, ensuring they stay informed and capable of delivering on the latest wellbeing advancements.
- Drive a results-oriented, client-focused approach within the team, ensuring accountability and effective project delivery.
- Measurement & Impact Evaluation
- Oversee the collection and analysis of feedback, data, and insights related to wellbeing programmes, ensuring continuous improvement and refinement.
- Develop and present regular reports on the wellbeing pillar's performance, impact and ROI to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to make appropriate adjustments to programmes and strategies, ensuring ongoing relevance and success.
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in business, psychology, health, wellbeing or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role within wellbeing or a related industry. Proven experience in developing strategic plans, managing teams and driving business growth.
- Business Development Skills: Strong expertise in client acquisition, relationship-building and market expansion.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of wellbeing trends, mental health, physical health, nutrition and overall employee wellbeing practices.
- Ethical Leadership: Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards in wellbeing practices.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences including clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities to measure the success and impact of wellbeing initiatives.
- Forward-thinking and able to adapt quickly to new trends and shifting market demands.
- Empathetic and approachable, with a strong commitment to improving the wellbeing of both individuals and teams.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
