- Manage Outbound Operations : Oversee the entire outbound process, including order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Team Leadership : Supervise, coach, and develop outbound associates to achieve performance goals. Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and maintain high levels of motivation.
- Process Optimization : Continuously assess and improve outbound workflows, aiming to optimize speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Implement best practices to reduce errors and delays.
- Inventory Management : Collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure products are available for order fulfillment and manage the flow of items from storage to outbound areas.
- Quality Control : Monitor and enforce quality control standards for packaging, labeling, and shipping to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- KPIs and Reporting : Track key performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, shipping time, and productivity) and report on progress to senior management. Use data to drive decisions for operational improvements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination : Work with other departments (e.g., inbound, customer service, product, ICQA, HR) to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations across the fulfillment center.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure that the outbound area adheres to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Problem Resolution : Address operational issues such as shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, or customer complaints promptly.
- Technology Utilization : Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to track order progress, improve workflow, and ensure accurate shipping.
- Experience : 3-5 years of experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role. Experience working in F&B, fashion, and soft-lines warehouses is a plus.
- Leadership Skills : Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff.
- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Attention to Detail : High focus on accuracy, ensuring all orders are correctly packed and shipped on time.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, other departments, and external partners.
- Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Proficiency : Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office; knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus.
