AMEK ENGINEERING Pty Ltd is seeking a HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join our busy team located in the Belmont area.
Qualification and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Tradesperson
- Qualifications suitable for membership of Engineers Australia
- At least one year of Mechanical Engineering experience in Australia
- Strong understanding of HVAC Systems & Designs
- HVAC qualifications (or country equivalent) are essential
- Design, develop, and implement HVAC systems for a variety of building types
- Produce technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for HVAC systems
- Oversee HVAC projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.
- Prepare and review technical reports, manuals, and compliance documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system performance issues
- Ensure all HVAC designs and installations comply with Australian standards
- Strong understanding of mechanical system principles, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
- Ability to perform detailed calculations, simulations, and system optimizations
- Proficient with HVAC design software (such as AutoCAD & Revit)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
