About the Role As a Marketing Manager for their Malaysia Retail Marketing arm, you’ll be supporting the growth of the distribution and sales of their devices and services in the market. Products such as handphones, earphones, wearables and accessories. You’ll work closely with a team that is responsible for transforming retail from transactional to desirable. You’ll be leading the relationships and partnerships with regional marketing teams, local sales teams and external partners such as agencies, distributors, retailers, operators, and other channel partners. - Consolidate marketing asset requirements and localize brand, retail, and online store assets.
- Manage brand guidelines, legal approvals, and launch compliance for 3PR.
- Coordinate merchandising plans and execute in-store and online touchpoints.
- Ensure day-one readiness for launches across 3PR and online stores while developing scalable processes.
- Act as the representative for digital retail innovations and user insights.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (marketing, sales, legal) and external partners (agencies, distributors, retailers).
- Drive consensus across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals for launches and campaigns.
- Facilitate smooth communication and conflict resolution among stakeholders to ensure program success.
- Oversee launch readiness efforts, including timelines, deliverables, and training for partners.
- Implement trackers, conduct check-ins, and proactively address roadblocks for successful product launches.
Campaigns
- Monitor the execution and effectiveness of distributor and partner-led campaigns.
- Collaborate with agencies and marketing teams to execute scalable digital campaigns with 3P partners.
- Use insights to introduce pilots, track outcomes, and share learnings for broader applications.
- Partner on co-marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store activations with channel marketing teams.
- Analyze performance data and market research to optimize strategies and enhance retail presence.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience within an in-house environment, preferably working with technology and devices.
- Ability to develop a marketing strategy and business plans, as well as analyzing customer and market insights and marketing spend effectiveness.
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels and successfully launch new products in the market through a range of channels, offline and online.
- Passion for retail marketing and creating customer experiences with the ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems, and scale effectively across a large organisation.
- Excellent problem-solving, written/verbal communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience with building solid relationships with sales and business units.
