Locations: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia Time Type: フルタイム Posted On: 募集開始 - 4 日前 Job Purpose We are searching for an Associate Cyber Security Specialist to join our growing Cyber Platform team. This position will be located in our Malaysia office or from a remote location as needed. The Associate Cyber Security Specialist requires communication skills for active collaboration with users, associates within the team, and other IT teams. Responsibilities- Assist in monitoring and delivery of Cybersecurity platforms (such as SIEM, PAM, others).
- Help in the support and maintenance of security controls and technologies.
- Execute consistently and accurately operational processes and procedures, meeting respective SLAs.
- Maintain baselines for the secure configuration and operations of assets.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to colleagues on security-related matters.
- Maintain and enforce adherence to corporate security standards, processes, and procedures.
- 3 years of IT or 1 year of IT Security related experience.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- IT skills and knowledge related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Experience with ticketing and case management solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined, with excellent time management skills.
- Previous work experience in a Tier 1 or in SOC.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, web proxy, certificate management, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and web technologies.
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Cloud and Office 365 Security Configuration Knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are desirable but not required.
Working Conditions:
