Primary Purpose of Role Responsible for designing the trade marketing plans and executing the same through a team of Trade Marketing Managers and in collaboration with the sales team. Responsible for execution of brand promotion strategies through several channels. Responsible for building a strong brand presence in the trade Pan India. Role & responsibilities
- Develop Pan India trade marketing plans, in alignment with brand guidelines & national channel program of the key strategic brands and measure the performance volume & brand health.
- Design and drive execution of promotional campaigns as per the channel visibility strategy
- Implement and evaluate both trade and consumer promotions for the priority channels on time and within budget
- Maximize the return on investment and ensure adequate levels of trade and consumer participation.
- Build promotional plans with customers to ensure org has the strongest promotional participation across categories & outperforms the competition across all key commercial metrics
- Identify the right POC & execute the brand assets & measure the growth
- Collaborate with the sales team in the development of key trade customers through:
- Formulation and implementation of account strategies
- Planning in order to maximize volume and share performance.

- Interface for region with Head Office team in organization on all Trade marketing & Marketing related investments/ execution
- Interacting with internal & external stakeholders to ensure execution as per the defined guidelines.
- Management, development and coaching of regional trade marketing team.
- Keep sales & pop team fully informed of new channel/account developments, trends and competitor activity.
- Lead team to work towards achieving the key targets and groom them for taking up larger roles & responsibilities at org.
- Provide guidance to team while negotiating with vendors for the purpose of promotional activities, events and brand activation merchandise of high quality
- Monthly monitoring the execution & measure the performance of every initiative by POC's; analyze & provide the feedback on next steps to get best result.
- Track & draw insights from promotion-based sales trends and plug gaps wherever required:
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports
- Pre-During-Post analysis of consumer promotions
- Excellent knowledge of Trade Marketing, Consumer Buying behavior & Channel development
- Knowledge and experience in conducting Market Research & Analysis
- Strong analytical skills, ability to find insights and propose relevant recommendations
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills
- The ability to prioritize and strong organization skills
- The ability to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders (Internal & External)
