Job details

This position is Hospital based with the largest healthcare provider in Doha. Please do not send your CV if you are not CIMA or ACCA qualified. Salary is up to 32,000 QAR + Apartment + 21,000 School Fees for up to 3 Children + 40 Days Annual leave (non-negotiable). You will be responsible for carrying out accurately and on a timely basis, finance-related support services (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, preparation of various financial reports and regulatory requirements, management reports, etc.) to various other Departments and Hospitals. Responsibilities:

  1. Comply with the company’s set policies, procedures, management and regulatory requirements, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  2. Stay abreast of the latest finance-related leading practices.
  3. Prepare and generate required reports, under the direction of the Senior Finance Business Partner.
  4. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and provide all required information to the concerned parties to facilitate the preparation of internal and external audit reports.
  5. Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all other related units to achieve the company’s goals/objectives.
  6. Ensure that the overall finance-related processes are conducted in an efficient and effective manner.
  7. Keep the Senior Finance Business Partner informed of significant issues that may jeopardize the achievement of the company’s goals.
  8. Identify areas for professional development and act to enhance the professional development of self and others.
  9. Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
  10. Work collaboratively with the Corporate Departments and Hospitals to provide specialist finance support services and information as and when required.

Job Skills

  1. About 5-7 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in the Healthcare Industry.
  2. University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting.
  3. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), Budgeting system/software.
  4. Have a professional accountancy qualification.
  5. Oracle/Hyperion or Healthcare experience.
  6. Experience of working in a big organization.
  7. Demonstrate significant length of service with previous employers (e.g., 2-3 years normally).
