Job Title: Jnr. Role Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration and administration of systems, reports, and interfaces according to business requirements. Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting requirements analysis and capture, estimation, design, configuration, unit testing, and preparing deployment of innovative solutions.
  2. Providing production support (troubleshooting, break/fix, maintenance) and administration of solutions.
  3. Working across a varied and large application landscape and playing a crucial role in the development of system applications.
  4. Participating in and supporting the development of computer applications within a development team in a timely manner, within budget, and as per client requirements.

Team Background:

This role sits within our Business Applications team and reports to our Business Applications Manager. The team is responsible for providing IT services for both shared and corporate solutions directly to the end customer within the European entities and the central functions of European Technology.

Specific Responsibilities:

As a Jnr. Configuration Developer, your role will involve:
  1. Break/Fix Production support across our global application landscape.
  2. Interacting with colleagues and clients to support the development and agreement of requirements.
  3. Supporting recommended improvements based on requirements to ensure the best solution is agreed.
  4. Carrying out software and system requirements analysis.
  5. Documenting designed IT solutions that meet agreed requirements, ensuring alignment with relevant standards.
  6. Performing system configuration changes in business applications, SaaS solutions, and systems feeds/integrations.
  7. Administering business systems.
  8. Preparing, executing, and reporting on a signed-off test plan and remediating testing issues.
  9. Assisting project leads to ensure projects are delivered to schedule and within budget.
