Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Employer: Confidential Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as the financial architect of a privately owned and diversified local Qatari conglomerate encompassing engineering, building materials, retail and trading, real estate, and facilities management services. This strategic role requires a forward-thinking leader to drive financial excellence, align financial operations with corporate objectives, and ensure the organization’s sustainable growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and implement innovative financial strategies to maximize value and foster growth across varied industries.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate governance standards, and ethical practices.
Oversee cash flow management, investments, and funding operations to maintain financial stability.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard assets and operations.
Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve profitability and operational efficiency.
Deliver actionable insights and analyses to inform business decisions and long-term planning.
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team to support complex, multi-sector operations.
Cultivate strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
Extensive experience in senior financial roles, preferably within a multi-industry organization.
Expertise in financial management, risk mitigation, and compliance across sectors like construction and real estate.
