Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Employer: Confidential Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as the financial architect of a privately owned and diversified local Qatari conglomerate encompassing engineering, building materials, retail and trading, real estate, and facilities management services. This strategic role requires a forward-thinking leader to drive financial excellence, align financial operations with corporate objectives, and ensure the organization’s sustainable growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement innovative financial strategies to maximize value and foster growth across varied industries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate governance standards, and ethical practices.
  • Oversee cash flow management, investments, and funding operations to maintain financial stability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard assets and operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver actionable insights and analyses to inform business decisions and long-term planning.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team to support complex, multi-sector operations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in senior financial roles, preferably within a multi-industry organization.
  • Expertise in financial management, risk mitigation, and compliance across sectors like construction and real estate.
