About The Job We are looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to join the Jumeirah family! In this role, you will oversee all Sales & Marketing activities, including promotions and sponsorships, ensuring the department operates efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for achieving set objectives, supporting the annual business plan, and adhering to the budget. The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role- Ensures clear and effective communication of business goals and updates across the Corporate Commercial Team, Global Sales Offices, and property-based Sales & Marketing teams.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all room types, restaurants, conference and event facilities, as well as current market rates.
- Maintains open communication channels to address customer complaints, compliments, and feedback, collaborating with relevant departments for efficient resolution.
- Recommends ideas and suggestions to senior management that could enhance guest and staff satisfaction and improve service quality.
- Monitors guest feedback closely, communicates results, and makes recommendations for resort improvements.
- Participates in training and development programs to enhance personal and departmental standards.
- Ensures that all team members possess the necessary skills to meet or exceed organizational and guest expectations.
- Proposes recommendations to management for modernizing equipment, service methods, and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
- A degree in Business Administration and/or Hospitality Management.
- At least five years of experience in the international luxury hospitality sector, ideally with exposure to the MENA region.
- Proven skills in team leadership, coaching, development, recruitment, and alignment within Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams.
- Experience in strategic commercial planning and execution.
