Terms and Condition Work Location: Qatar Resident (office ) Contract : Long term Primary Responsibilities of the Job Holder Include:

  • Upholding exemplary adherence to H3SE rules and requirements, and ensuring their implementation within their area of responsibility.
  • Managing and coordinating the installation engineering deliverables and work procedures, including technical studies conducted by the EPCI contractor and its sub-contractors.
  • Reviewing engineering deliverables to ensure timely completion and suitability for purpose. When necessary, coordinating technical clarification meetings to address and resolve comments or conflicts.
  • Facilitating the resolution of engineering interface issues by liaising with relevant entities at Headquarters and TEPQ, participating in constructability reviews and risk assessments, and ensuring follow-up action closures.
  • Ensuring that comments from the MWS are adequately incorporated by the EPCI contractor.
  • Verifying the qualification status of the Subsea Connector (if applicable) and ensuring that engineering, procurement, fabrication, and FAT/SIT comply with the project's technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with the EPCI Lead Engineer on readiness reviews for pipelay and diving package works.
  • Overseeing the loadout of Company Provided Items (in Europe or Qatar) and their handover to the EPCI contractor.
  • Attending the rigid spools fabrication yard, as needed, and witnessing the SIT prior to loadout.
  • Coordinating site visits to Company facilities with the EPCI contractor for pre-engineering surveys and familiarization.
  • Supervising the EPCI marine spread during execution to confirm adherence to Technical Requirements and compliance with H3SE policies.
Additional Notes on Job Specifics:
  • The position is based in Qatar, with frequent international travel anticipated (to line pipe manufacturers and EPC contractor locations).
  • Extensive experience in coordinating installation engineering and executing complex projects with multicultural, multidisciplinary teams. A minimum of 1015 years of experience in rigid flowline installation (S-Lay), diving operations, and rigid pipeline pre-commissioning is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to address and resolve technical challenges. Familiarity with relevant environmental policies and regulations is advantageous.
  • Broad expertise in subsea construction methods (both conventional and shallow water).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English at a professional level. Possession of a valid BOSIET certificate (OPITO approved).
